Dona Maria II - Young Queen

The young princess, daughter of D. Pedro IV of Portugal who was born in Rio de Janeiro on April 4, 1819 and died in Lisbon on November 15, 1853, a victim of her eleventh childbirth. She was nicknamed “The Educator” and “The Good Mother”!
